About Us

The Spirit of Scouting Soirée is a different engagement experience for the supporters the Southeast Louisana Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Chaired by an all-ladies committee in scouting, this event promises to be lively, unique, and is sure to become an annual tradition the community looks forward to each year. Meet the Committee

Muffin Adriance

Event Co-Chair

Muffin has been involved in the Boy Scouts of America for 10 years, serving as Den Leader for her sons, Sawyer and Will, and now volunteers with Scouts BSA as Troop 434 Committee Chair. Since becoming Wood Badge trained, Muffin has served on Wood Badge staff and worked with the Council training team to help leaders become better trained to improve the lives of our youth. Muffin is a Brotherhood member of Chilantikoba Lodge and Pelican Chapter Advisor for the Order of the Arrow. She serves on the Pelican District Committee, Council Activities and Civic Service Committee, and is a member of the Council Executive Board. She was recently honored by her fellow Scouters with the District Award of Merit and enjoys working with Scouts as a merit badge counselor.

Adrienne Salvaggio

District Executive, Auction Chair

Adrienne Roth is the District Executive of the Fleur de Lis District for the Southeast Louisiana Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Adrienne has been involved in the Boy Scouts of America for 8 years, serving as Cubmaster for Pack 491 and she currently serves as Assistant Scoutmaster for Scouts BSA Troop 491. Her son, Benjamin, is a Star Scout in Troop 48B and daughter, Sophia, recently joined Scouts BSA Troop 48G. Adrienne also serves as a Pelican District Unit Commissioner, and as an Assistant Council Commissioner. She was recently honored by her fellow Scouters with the Arrowhead award and enjoys working with adult scout leaders as a member of the SELA council Training Committee.

Shannon Markward

Event Co-Chair

After graduating from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Shannon worked in the media as a marketing professional for many years. Shannon received a Montessori teaching certificate from The World Montessori Educational Institute and worked as a Montessori teacher for 5 years. Shannon has a son who is a Star Scout in Troop 48B. She is currently the Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 48G. Shannon enjoys combining her knowledge of marketing, her love for working with youth and her interest in the natural world to further the mission of the Boy Scouts of America.
